Colostrum Powder is a natural, whole bovine colostrum providing a full spectrum of immunoglobulins and bioactive polypeptides, including IgG and PRPs, for powerful immune and gut health support.*It is a first-milking colostrum that is unfractionated, free of antibiotics, and is processed utilizing a specialized pasteurization method that preserves maximum biological activity and efficacy.*

First Milking Colostrum: First-milking colostrum is the term for milk produced in the first 24 hours after gestation. First-milking colostrum is critical to provide superior amounts of immunoglobulins, proteins, immune factors, growth factors, vitamins, and minerals. After that, levels of these crucial nutrients drop drastically and lactose content spikes dramatically. Unlike colostrum from later milkings, skim, or fractionated colostrum, our colostrum provides the full amount of these essential nutrients needed for full-body revitalization support.*

Whole Colostrum Colostrum Powder is a whole colostrum, meaning it has not been fractioned or diluted. Some manufacturers may use milk powder as a filler in their colostrum to boost IgG levels. This increases the ratio of IgG and level of lactose beyond their naturally occurring levels and those products may contain less nutrients and bioactive peptides. NuMedica® never uses milk powder filler.
